The short answer is... It depends.The exact chemistry of that particular Adesto CBRAM is unknown.There are loads of different chemistries, each with a different cost + other metric delta. Someone who would know is Coby, considering he has people working for him that were probably involved in its creation. Either way, I highly doubt it will be cheaper to manufacture, and have the same retention qualities as OxRAM.I would suggest due to some customer requirement GF needed something as a stop gap until WBT's ReRAM is qualified @22nm + Automotive temps etc.Rather than speculate, I suggest someone reaches out to him and asks the specifics. All IMO - DYOR etc.
