Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas) launched a new "website" in order to continue and strengthen the digital transformation of the upstream oil and gas industry.
"Along with the implementation of the transformation of SKK Migas and the implementation of the Indonesia Oil & Gas 4.0 strategic plan and the increasingly massive and aggressive activities of SKK Migas and PSC Contractors, the previous 'website' has not been able to accommodate the need for publications like this," said SKK Migas Secretary Shinta Damayanti during her remarks at the launch. The new "website" is at SKK Migas Head Office, Jakarta, Tuesday. He said that to support the activities of the upstream oil and gas industry, very close cooperation and collaboration is needed between SKK Migas and Cooperation Contract Contractors (KKKS).
"To build a competitive upstream oil and gas industry, there is currently very close interaction and synergy between PSC Contractors and SKK Migas, one of which is the existence of an 'integrated operation center' (IOC) to monitor operational activities carried out by PSC Contractors," said Shinta.
Therefore, he continued, the development of the "website" was directed not only to meet the needs of SKK Migas but also KKKS so that the new "website" of SKK Migas also contained a KKKS "microsite".
"Together with SKK Migas' plan to carry out a 're-development website' in 2022 so that it can support the transformation of SKK Migas and Indonesia Oil & Gas 4.0 together with the KKKS to design a joint publication program by integrating the new SKK Migas 'website' with KKKS publications in the form of SKK Migas 'microsite website'," he said.
He explained that through the KKKS "microsite" feature, the SKK Migas "website" has a kind of KKKS mini "website", so that the media and the public can get news about KKKS through the SKK Migas "website".
Currently, there are five PSC Contractors that already have microsites on the SKK Migas website, namely Pertamina EP, Medco, HCML, Petrochina,
"The number of KKKS 'microsites' will continue to be added, for 2023 there will be an additional 20 'microsites'. The hope is that all PSC Contractors will have a 'microsite' on the SKK Migas 'website' so that upstream oil and gas industry information can be accessed on one SKK 'website'. Oil and gas," said Shinta.
There are new things and improvements on the SKK Migas "website", including "banners" as content.
SKK Migas hopes that it will provide better convenience when visitors access the SKK Migas "website" via "gadgets" because "banners" will appear on the screen so there is no need to "scroll" down to find content.
