I believe they are ongoing factors, and yes a lot were already in motion a while back. My beef is with the poster's neanderthal perspective trying to equate the changes of the stock price with the success or not of the electrification of a country's transportation resources. A bigger source of the beta might be seen as the risk on / risk off sentiment that throws buyers and sellers towards growth or value stocks, while the more impressionable amongst us identifies this as impetus for their buying/selling decisions, failing to remember every value stock was once a growth stock.
