I can’t think of any large western pharmas that don’t now have a direct presence in China – Pfizer, Novartis, J & J, AbbVie, Roche, Sanofi, Astra Zeneca, BMS, Eli Lilly, Merck, Novo Nordisk, GSK, Bayer, Boehringer Ingelheim…. Astra Zeneca, for example, has Chinese sales revenue of US$6bn+ p.a.
Neuren filed patent applications for both its
Compositions of Trofinetide and
Methods and Compositions for Treatment of Rett Syndrome in China in 2020
, so there would appear to be intention to market trofinetide in China.
