I also purchased for the exposure to SYR in the early days. As you say, it has since gone pear shaped.
My guess is they have tax losses from earlier on so there may not be much in the way of tax for CSE to pay. But I could be wrong.
ASIC are next to useless in policing compliance by companies and looking after minority interests. ASIC is way be hind regulators such as the UK and the London Stock Exchange.
