CFD's are not appropriate for equities, ETFs and such.
They are a vastly superior product to futures due to a myriad of different reasons.
ES Emini margin is $10600 per contract or $25 per point + brokerage + there are spreads in futures but not as much as CFDs. For example in futures the spread may be 10.01 buy 10.03 sell In CFDs its 10.00 to buy and 10.05 to sell and that's how they make their money.
If I was to trade CFD and risk $10600 in margin I would have access to a $530k position which is ~$130 per point and no brokerage.
Bottom line is - to trade CFD's you need to know what you are doing, if you do - Emini Futures is just a waste of time.
