Yes, I agree with all points, other than the assumption Appen will be less relevant in the coming years. No one really does know - it’s likely as just as much as likely as me saying they will be.
I made no assumptions other than saying Appen is positioned to benefit well from the AI revolution being driven by Microsoft and Google.They will demonstrate how useful of a utility AI products are and from that will birth a whole new AI industry that people actually understand - This is a moment in our lifetime where we are witnessing a technological breakthrough that will transform many industries.
As this new AI industry takes shape, many companies will need to train their models and develop their own AI products. While there are other companies providing data for AI, Appen is still one of them and all are set to see growth.
It seems more likely Appen will play some part in the AI space as more companies invest and develop AI products.
The company has been beaten down and has taken a major hit, they have some work to do, but at some point things actually turn around and if not operationally the SP does.
As someone like myself who loves opportunity I see one right here with a SP price that has declined significantly and what I think will be some major renewed interest in the space.
