Ray Zage (Non-executive director of Whitehaven) bought more stock AFTER Paul Flynn sold his ~1M (albeit 150k units indirectly) and Ray hasn't sold anything throughout this time. Id imagine he would be privy to just as much as Paul so I hardly think its a case of there being anything hugely suspicious here. Coal is a cyclical commodity and we all know that so there are going to be plenty of trading opportunities for that style of investor. A lot of commentators were saying to take some off the table at $9+ so it wasn't like Paul was the only one who was thinking about lightening things.
And for the record, Ray Zage still has over 10M shares in Whitehaven (10,933,134 from the last update).
