As far as what I have learnt is that TSR consists of the share price and the dividend that is reinvested.
What I was trying to infer as an example, if we received an extra 10 cents on to top of the 32 cents, it would have negligible affect on the TSR.
A BB has a great chance of moving the share price up and benefits the CEO remuneration package. If I was a CEO, a $1 upward move in the share
price is better than an 10 cents extra gift to to shareholders.
Especially If my criteria of my remuneration package is based on TSR!
