I wonder what dose they will be using, does it say anywhere? Couldn't find it.
If it's 6000mg, then I think they will be quietly hoping the faster infusion will achieve clinically useful plasma concentrations for bacteraemia/sepsis.
Plus a 15-30 minute infusion would be more convenient for doctors and patients.
Also, for the first part of the trial, is it healthy volunteers, and then exposing E. coli to the urine of those individuals after infusion?
