Seahunt, it's even worse than that.
The MIN price has already dropped for those that sold out early.
They are already behind and paying CGT on the higher price.
People who accepted will have to pay CGT even though they got no cash.
Of course, the MIN price can still drop lower.
To pay the CGT, if they sell MIN shares (November 2023) it will put pressure on the MIN price.
However, with a lot of people needing to raise $$, it's not just a matter of x number of shares being sold.
It's possibly thousands of MIN holder's selling about the same time and just wanting their cash so it will put even more pressure on the MIN price.
I conjectured in another post that MIN holders should consider selling MIN and buy NWE but my post got nuked for "other".
Consider = research = not advice.
Much more upside to NWE if we hit gas - IMO only.
If / when NWE hit gas, and whats that black oily stuff, I think there will be a lot of unhappy new MIN shareholders.
