    I seem to remember that Mt Lyell was operating c.2012 when two chaps fell down a shaft whilst not wearing harnesses and the mine closed for “ safety reasons”
    Roumours were about
    that the company had been high grading the ore deposit
    and it was not economic to restart at whatever time post the incident investigation.
