Having said that, as soon as PAR get approval for Zilosul, the race will be on. Trials for safety and efficacy of non-Bene manufactured iPPS will no doubt come fast. It takes time (best part of a decade) and money (hundreds of millions of dollars), and we'll have a substantial head-start. Also, don't forget PAR has patents covering methods of use, dosing etc in some of the major Pharma markets.
Also, there are anecdotes out there about others who have already tried and failed, bevause they just don't have Bene's adherence to excellence in manufacturing practice....such as this one:
