My wife works for SRG Global and they do an even closer thing to GNP.
What they just did was, buy an $80 million mining services company (ALS Industrial) and raise $40M. Their SP is up in the past six months form 52c to 75c like many others.
I don't want to buy into them because it would just be doubling up my exposure. (I don't think inside trading would be an issue).
The roll-up of like companies sin cottage industries mode is alive and well.
I've seen it work in everything from JB Hi fi, to Domino's Pizza to Sonic Healthcare to name a few.
All IMVHO.
