My comment about destroying wealth was not specific to EMV. It was in relation to medical oem’s where an equipment may be fantastic but it’s not good business.
There is a common excuse that institutions can’t invest in this or that. It’s a ruse. There are thousands of professional investment firms/funds that can invest but don’t. So best we don’t make excuses.
