I suppose JTaylor that Panda is just assuming that if they don't core the whole thing then that must mean that the uncored section is dry. I'm not a petrogeologist etc and Ya or someone similar would need to verify this but perhaps CoP feel they can get sufficient data from the 37m of core without needing to continue core and can move onto the logging and sampling stage? It has probably taken almost 10 days to core 37m and they may feel its better to spend the next 20 with traditional testing while they still have a long core of (hopefully liquid liquid hydrocarbons)to analyse.
