Hang on syp - it was only a few years ago that she was down on asians in australia. Now (if you watched the video) she has no problems selling her house to an asian (resident in aus, of course!) but not to a muslim, australian or otherwise.
I see Hanson as a genuine xenophobe - she just doesn't like 'difference'. That's understandable - many different groups have settled in Aus - and all of them have been treated with suspicion / derision, until fear made way to acceptance that the vast majority of people are just decent, and potential life-long friends. I used to be wary of muslims too - before I met some!
