    Yes, it has become a punt, some time ago now. Also some time ago, AAU said that the ore from the La Demajagua mine would have high gold and silver recoveries using a second-generation Albion plant like the one in Armenia. The sums I did back then suggested that would mean that the mine would be quite profitable based on gold/silver alone.

    Now it looks like we need to add antimony to the mix to make it worthwhile. If the price of antimony falls too much, then that processing cost can be a negative instead of a positive. For gold and silver also, though I think there's more wiggle room.

    If we are now looking at a BIOX plant instead of a Albion plant, I suspect that metallurgical testing has found that the Albion recoveries probably aren't as great as expected for the kind of ore at LD. Even though I am guessing a bit, I am concerned and would have liked to see an announcement that clarifies these uncertainties. The scoping study should clear these things up.
