For those that are interested in Coby's interview with Alan Kohler on the 21.03.23 - whilst it is behind a paywall - it is easily accessible via signing up for a 15 day free access to the Eureka Report as I did.
I have only been on board the WBT train for some 18 months and have gained valuable insights through people on Hot Copper sharing their opinions.
Similarly listening to interviews with Coby and in attending the recent AGM with Coby and Dadi speaking.
But this interview with Alan takes my knowledge to a higher level and is highly recommended reading.
Of the existing technologies to replace Flash there are 3 main types
    1: ReRam
    2: MRAM
    3: ferroelectric RAM
The latter is not gaining any real market share so it's really MRAM and ReRam that are the promising technologies.
MRAM adds about 30-40 per cent to the cost of a wafer whilst ReRam adds about 5-7 percent.
So long as ReRam wasn't out there, people who needed more advanced memory didn't have a choice and started using MRAM.
Coby went on to say that now that ReRAM is available they are seeing huge interest in the ReRAM technology and many peolpe that have been using MRAM are telling WBT that they would prefer to use ReRAM.
