Just listening to the F22 online presso - Kevin Gallagher has explicitly stated there is no near term M&A activity on the cards.
They have several other projects they need to deliver and don't want to dilute focus.
He also declined to comment on any such update to investor Q&A sessions.....hahaha.
BAS would simply be a low effort acquisition so I personally believe it's on the cards. Low risk, low effort, high value add to Santos.
Pocket change for Santos and a multiple of current SP to BAS.
