G'day ausjpn. I tend to disagree with your statement that 'wanna-be short term profit takers are soooo annoying'
You need all types of traders to move the market. You need day traders, short term and long term traders to make a good tradeable, moving market.
Some stocks are more suitable to day trading than others.....I might add that imo PLV is a long term hold, however I will sell at a suitable time and at that time maybe considered by the newer purchaser as one of the many day-traders...that they find annoying.
I think that there are many holders of PLV who thought it would rise in leaps and bounds, but picked the wrong stock for short term gains and have become some what in-patient and become frustrated.......hence shots at management
It is just that I hear it so often about day and short time traders.....it is neither her nor there to me
Cheers
