It’s a requirement to sell products in Japan. MP can not sell directly into Japan. Same goes with Lynas, which is why the company has an exclusive distribution agreement with SOJITZ.
Now all MP need to do is actually produce a product that can be sold in Japan. Going to take them awhile to commission their processing plant IMHO. And that’s if it actually works properly…
