Although I have watched cricket a bit here and there in the past, I find myself very interested in the sports lately. Can any of you explain why Michael Bevan being touted as probably one of the best one-dayer is not included in the current test team. I mean since he is so good in one-day cricket, surely he can bat just as good in a test match. What is the difference in a one-day and test matches that makes him play in one but not the other. Is it because a test match last a few days and he does not have the stamina, etc...??? I am only using Michael Bevan as an example as he is a very good one-dayer and I don't see him selected for the current test match.
Please explain as I am still trying to understand the game.
