As with everything the Rudd Govt is doing they are pushing dates out... (smoke tax immediate, packaging 3 years away)...

All of the 'joe public' benefits kick in down the track.. plenty of time to change them.. but lots of talk into the election..

Plenty of time for big business to lobby... for change after election...

Plenty of time for Rudd to get elected as he has not impacted on peoples lives yet...

Libs arguing against it will be sold as arguing against the public..

I am tiring of the way punters are being treated as idiots... sadly the way we vote tends to reflect it..
