CRN & WHC have both cut their dividends to preserve cash for future potential acquisitions. Why do I feel a little uncomfortable that the bidders will pay what they can afford rather than what the asset's cash flow is worth...... plus the sovereign risk of QLD (and potentially the Federal Govt - environmental approvals and "windfall gains tax" [lower risk in my estimation but higher risk than 12-18 mths ago)...... maybe an acquisition that you don't want to win?
