As per my original comment, I estimated it would take about 2 weeks from results for the SP to settle into some form of stable range. Just based on previous results and how they tend to shake out.
Personally if I found myself in any kind of investment position where I could not afford to wait 2 weeks to see what happens, I would probably exit that position. That is not advice, it's just that I wouldn't invest with such a short time horizon.
However if you're a long term holder, not sure why you'd suddenly be so upset about a 10% drop from a 12 month high, surely you'd still be happy with the significant gain that's been made over the last year or so from the most recent low ~$4.
Even if you're massively in the red and you have been for years, you've already waited a long time, why suddenly start complaining about it now and expecting to get it all back tomorrow?
