Mate of mine managed to reach Barry by phone. Mate relayed to me that Barry was obviously disappointed that the bond had fallen through. Didn't explain why, so it was my conjecture (as noted) yesterday that it may not have been filled due to a lack of risk appetite. Maybe it was coupon rate related. Or even something else. Just don't know at this stage. All speculation. Hopefully, we learn more about what actually went down at some point - keeping in mind a lot of this stuff is commercially confidential. But, ultimately - it failed, so we need to move on to other potential options.

Was only a 5-minute chat apparently. He mentioned revisiting other options without giving up any specifics. Said something about bringing parties back in to the data room. A typical Bazism "we'll keep swinging hard". Not much help, I'm afraid.

I'd imagine they would have others assisting them right now.

I trust large equity holders will continue to support them with a potential CR. And as stated yesterday, I think their best bet is to bring a cornerstone investor - preferably a commodity trader - onboard for a chunk of equity. Traders want the copper. They don't wanna run the mine day to day. And we can deliver in 12-24 months. Copper deficits are starting from this year. And it is only going to get worse from here on in. Sell the access to copper story. Anyone with strategic foresight would be wise to gain future access to their copper cathode.

I'm not gunna spend potentially 5 weeks beating myself up over this. Cross that bridge if/when it comes to it. In the meantime, I am choosing to remain positive and am trusting management to find a viable solution. Nothing much else I can do.
