"These are not comparable metrics"
Boslo (or anybody else), Please correct me if my understanding is inaccurate
HGO's all in costs for producing copper (after byproduct credits) is 2.22 USD/lb
CYM's all in costs for producing copper is 2.82 USD/lb, they don't have any reported byproduct credits hence have to wear all the costs of producing their copper on the bottom line.
HGO is very fortunate to be able to sell some gold to reduce the overall costs of production.
I don't mind how the company does it BUT reducing costs is the only way to stay in business in a very competitive environment and comparing companies based on the bottom line costs of making their core product is one of many methods of analysis.
