I rarely buy a property unless its from the early 1900's.
Cant say enough about the craftsmanship and attentions to detail of that era, and most of them are standing the time and will be still around when most 1980 yellow brick jobs are being knocked.
I have 90% period homes, and glad I have.
I would loved to have been around in the early 1900's to see the buildrs at work, couldnt imagine the cosst to rebuild one toady.
Sure i see the fake period homes, they are just gastly.
Not enough said about period homes of the late 180-0's into early 1900's....symetrical cottages and victorian villas are my fav. Not so into the Bungalows.
