Q: Here is a chart of Steel prices would anybody care to make a guess about what this means for Nd prices?
A: Nothing.
To Iron/Steel NdFeB is a very minor proportion of usage. And to magnets the Fe cost is pretty negligible.
Magnet pricing would of course be relevant to Nd pricing and vice versa.
