If the Feds are going to impose a Super Tax on mining coys why not impose a similar tax on our banking giants against their 'Super' profits? The endless list of charges imposed by the banks on their customers effect a lot more people than the profits earned by the major resource companies. And these charges continue regardless of the state of the economy.
This government has opened up a can of worms with this proposal.
