Great reasoning and thanks for sharing your insights and experience. Hopefully MEL can indeed deliver on their announced goal to pay a dividend some time down the track. Like you, I've been holding for some years now and am struggling with the flatlining SP. PS. Trust you are talking $/GJ here.
