I agree with this comment. I worked with a bloke that told me when he was drilling in Indonesia and Papua new Guinea many years ago. They would take fridges and small generators to pay the port people in each place they went to just to get their stuff off the ship.
Here we say port charges or port tax, the same same applies in the DRC, sadly we have a hanycap with legislation in Australia that does not help us overseas. But the Chinese are in on that scam big time.
