I personally see it playing out like this.
TF invest their time and money to help create a better Omnicar cell that stands out from the pack, and one day will be a truly diverse platform that is a major player in most CAR-T therapies.

Therefore whoever wants to partner with Omnicar will need to use new Thermofisher equipment to manufacture the cells.

I don’t think TF are interested in taking on the risk of developing CAR-T therapies. Could they branch out and potentially develop their own cells? Maybe?

TF have taken interest in a small capped Aussie company but have kept us at arms length in regards to not wanting us throw their name around at an attempt to increase stock performance. We need them far more than they need us currently.

Until Omnicar has proven its worth, TF will not be wanting to publicly pump our collaboration at the risk of Omnicar being a flop (in my opinion it seems very unlikely so far but this is biotech after all). There is also a risk that this collab is not successful therefore TF would not want to end up with egg on their face.

TF clearly see the potential of Omnicar otherwise they wouldn’t waste their time. I do see some merit in TF wanting to acquire PTX if Omnicar proves to be successful, but I do not think that will be any time soon.
