The US is in a parlous state with racial and social unrest.

It has its origins in the Reagan era when the President declared war on the Democrats. Upto that point both parties were America first and shared many of doctrines which made it a super power. The split has encouraged racial and demographic division (something we picked up upon as early adopters) with the Democrats playing hard for the non white vote and the Republicans playing for the suits and flannel shirt teams.

The US now has talking heads of both black and white complexion, on social media openly advocating whites move away from proximity of black communities, if they know what's best for them. Ironically the same blacks are suggesting blacks of means should shelter in white communities. I'm using US vernacular with the black and white thing .

The US will find it hard to recover from the hysteria unless it re industrialises and gets everyone distracted with work and making a quid. My bet is the corporations will buffer themselves by having two operational houses : primary in US and secondary in UK
