I don't think NF ever suspected AVZ would be sideswiped by the DRC government, especially at such a late stage having obtained all four required approvals and ultimately a decree to issue an ML... read Dathcoms response to the renunciation of the decree, it's a surprise to everyone, the actions of the MoM makes no sense to even these highly experienced operators.. AVZ has done everything by DRC law and their own mining code. AVZ has exposed how deep the corruption and/or incompetence is. Highest levels at the MoM and MoP exposed by the IGF and soon to be ICC in Paris. Who spent years and $100m defining a viable resource? Zijin? Darthimir? Simon Cong? Will the good guy's win for a change? Who knows. AVZ is being attacked by powerful entities that want that resource.
