mja are you sure this is right it sounds excessive. A 40% tax before all administration/running expenses and then another 28% after?
Profit on your example down from $37.8m to $21.6m suggests any mining company in AUS solely relying on AUS resource their SP will fall ridiculously - much further than they have over the past 2 days.
Fine (maybe even great) for DRA but unfair on BHP, RIO and others.
