Seems to me that there are some big egos in real estate. hard the say who is right but given John has a very large shareholding and the value of that has dropped since listing, i would assume he is working to increase that value given his salary from the business is modest. I am not sure the previous CEO is creating much value at AU1 - they seem to be passing all the value to the agents. perhaps AU1 should be private or the two (MEA/AU1) should merge and focus on shareholder value or will egos get in the way? Seems there is no shortage of sales agents in Australia.
