I remember back in early 2017 there was a bit of investor panic in the lithium sector over the apparant rise of solid state batteries. NCM batteries were all of a sudden becoming obsolete. Lithium miners were all of a sudden apparently going to be mining a product that was useless and that nobody wanted or needed.
PLS at the time was trading at 33 cents
GXY & Orecobre (now AKE) were two of the most shorted stock on the ASX and Lithium spodumene was selling for $600 usd per tonne (now ~ $8-10k per tonne)
The rest is history.....
LYC at anything under $8 is a gift.
