Ann: MIN: MinRes extends Norwest Energy NL Offer, page-32

Well, the extension has been publicized, 2 more weeks of posts on the daily increase of folders but it is about to have added spice with spudding of well.
Spoke with our CEO this afternoon, my questions:
1. Why haven't we any notices especially on Norwest Letterhead - Iain said one is near ready regarding drilling. He said that only parts of the drilling equipment have been onsite and today the complete kit and kaboodle is present, we can expect a notice within days, as I understand. A definite spud date coming up.. (approx. 5 days after notice the drill will start turning).
2. After the spud date we may not hear weekly drilling reports from the operator - it is possible that we get a spud and end report regarding drilling. I mentioned that if anything happens during drilling that is of material affect to NWE that it will be reported - Yes.
3. Does our CFO, Joanne still work for us - yes, Joanne has previously only worked part-time and will continue to work for NWE and TPD.
4. Minres may make a move on the board etc. but NWE CEO mentioned that there must be one independant Director whose main concern is for the minority shareholders. As I understand it - this move can be done without a General Meeting however a General Meeting can be called (this is my research only) - an Independant Director would not hold shares nor be associated with the Board nor employees etc. Now where will we find this "God" of a person?

Not a lot to report, nothing that we don't already know - the best to come out of this is that the next 2 weeks will have added zest to our posts in regard to the upcoming drill.
