Further to my tounge in cheek comment, if musk wants a cheaper input cost, then buying into a rare earth project would provide this , either through returns on dividends or fully owned internal processing. Apple has done this with their tec requirements .
either way he's been known to comment to try to manipulate markets, Twitter post taking Tesla private at a time when It was being heavily shorted.
Mei if it has the goods would be a very suitable target
