Good observation but chalk and cheese really.
Battery recycling in AU today, and into the forseable future, is built around income from the B-Cycle scheme not around value from the processing of the product(s). It will be many years before the volumes versus battery type equation will allow for any stand-alone money-making venture, meanwhile those in the game are simply lining up each month with hands open. Redwood have the tech and admit the challenge has been collection but the volume of various battery types is the winner for them. Just not the same scenario in AU.
