Another thought that’s crossed my mind ….. do you or anyone else know what the terms are when they lend out the shares for shorting?
Is this possible ->. We will lend you you the shares at a higher price than today’s price (ie. future price say $2.20) so that you can make the most of time to short even if the prices are rising….. or that you are not necessarily exposed by a rising market…
Is future proofing terms like that legal? Who’s to know what the terms are? Or is that called “naked shorting” which is forbidden by the ASIC.
