Another possibility about the award: the lawyers have told management that $200-300m is likely.If it was $1b, it would be hard to decline. I'm not so sure the NPV of Chatree would stack up against $1b. Eg. $100m+ NPAT, which gets discounted greater and greater in future years (time value of money), could come out to $700m NPV (very rough guess).
