Hmmm ....... things to worry about .............. it sounds like the people you are dealing with haven't even considered any of the following "Real" as opposed to "Imagined" Threats:

Food Shortages, Civil Disorder, Societal Breakdown and Supply Chain Collapse.

I have a Rural background, however have unfortunately spent the last +30 years in the Big Smoke.

I still follow the Rural News and things like Abbatoir Workers, Shearers and all manner of other tasks fullfilled by either skilled, semi-skilled or unskilled labour are becoming a real problem.

Even my local Butcher says he has trouble with Truck Driver reliability bringing meat from his suppliers that are interstate.

And the Crazies in the Environmental Cult want to kill off cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, chooks etc all in the name of Climate Change.

When I was young (late Primary and early Secondary School) we would laugh about the stupid Farmers and Graziers in our region (there's always 5% or so) with throw away lines like the following:

"If it's alive shoot it, if it's standing still shoot, if shooting doen't bring it down, then chop it down............ and if chopping it down doesn't work, burn it down"
