Elon probably just trying to setup leverage & bargaining power for better REE magnet prices

Tesla cars were supposed to be driving themselves already & wasn't a robot thing of Elon's just a human actor? His most recent robot can apparently self replicate though - but can't open a bank account or hold a passport or drivers licence so not sure where the nuts & bolts & circuit boards & tools are coming from or how the robot will know when or how to perform memory or limb upgrades or if it is better off assembling a newer model?!?

Send that man to Mars or upload him to the Metaverse where he can be the king of twits & robots & faeries..... don't believe everything he says - remember his fool cell quips? Remember he's saving the earth building EV cars in China & Bitcoin was his thing or was it Dogecoin? The guy is a crazy genius but not a Messiah or hero or prophet though many idolize him...

Maybe some EVs will be REE free but don't forget about the touchscreens in the cars & networks of computers & satellites updating the software & providing GPS information & how are they going to self drive without REE linked to computer hardware and satellites????

Dude may have a hope of producing cheaper cars with less REE but their use will continue to increase in almost every other technology....
