That's the idea in general for funds/shorters/brokers/some traders; to clog the threads with nonsense and obscure the pith. The desired result being its harder for retail to pick up good/useful info.

A trick almost as old as the printing press.

Another possible way to assess this situation when it occurs is there's focus and energy being spent on the stock for a reason. I find that a better indicator than the majority of lack of content. But I don't provide advice and you shouldn't listen to me as I don't know much, and always DYOR.
