I am pleased that you agree that the status is still "patent pending." The corollary is that the company should not claim the patent has been granted.
The last letter I find in the Canada file is the one from October 24, 2022, acknowledging the "PCT National Phase Entry." That was the day that Prairie appointed a new patent lawyer and paid the $1,611.18 fee due at that time to start the examination process. They had been in no hurry for action on it, until AZL showed up with cash. The US application was filed May 7, 2020. The Canadian application was filed April 29, 2021. They were in no hurry for 18 months to have it examined. I think that's called "working on BLM time."
