Firstly, socialists governments around the world have NOT learnt by their mistakes at all.
The Rudd health plans are no more than paper shuffling with another layer of bureaucrats. The is no direct control, that was negotiated away..and has nothing to do with this tax.
It is not only the greedy who own BHP etc...all managed super funds and most SMSF would own BHP, and super is compulsory.
The mantra of this tax helping "working families" through additional super contribution is a fraud, except for public servants. The super additional contribution is picked up by the employer, not thje government.
