“a share price more appealing to a wider range of investors within Australia and globally, particularly institutional investors”
there was quite a lot of discussion on it in the Consolidation thread. This sentence seemed to summarise the only positive I could see.
To me, the only thing surprising about the share price slide after consolidation is that anyone is surprised - it seems that some people thought that the company seeking more investment should have meant their existing holdings would become more valuable not less. I don’t understand why anybody would think that - it’s not like RFX sales are currently constrained by lack of investment, and they never indicated they were going to use more investment to expand sales or production or acquire an asset. The consolidation was just a means to get more investment without saying what the investment was for, and investment always comes at a price to existing investors So why anyone thought the SP would not fall is beyond me.
